A Personal Note

It has been a much better week.  Everyone is feeling a lot better.  Matt is still dealing with allergies and his sore back, but other than that I think we are all healthy.  We have been out enjoying the nice spring weather.  It did rain all day Saturday, but other than that the kids have really been enjoying the sun!  They even got sunburned a bit the other day.  OOPS!  Time to haul out the sunscreen I guess.

It is official, we have accepted the position at St. John Lutheran Church in Milford, IL.  We are now researching moving companies.  (If you have any positive recommendations or comments on companies to stay away from please let me know!)  We hope to pack up and move out within the next few weeks.  We are excited to move on to a new chapter of our lives.  Of course that means we will be busy, busy, busy for the next couple of months!

As I am sure most of you saw in an e-mail I sent out last week, I am now offering lifetime memberships to my menu planning service.  You can learn more about my service at www.dinewithoutwhine.com.  I do have a few more charter spots open. A charter membership is $75 instead of $130.  That is $75 for a lifetime of weekly menu's with grocery lists delivered to your e-mail box.  Can't beat that!  In order to take advantage of this offer, you must enter coupon code 3F7E at the time of check-out.

I also am pleased to announce that Dine Without Whine was featured in a special Family Edition of Real Simple Magazine that hits newsstands today!  There is an article on six different meal planning services.  If you see a copy, take a look!

Have a GREAT Week!

Christine

Crock Pot Pork Chop Recipe

Makes 4 servings

    8 pork chops, lean

    1/2 cup flour

    1 teaspoon salt

    1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard

    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 can chicken and rice soup

Mix flour, salt, dry mustard and garlic powder in a large plastic ziplock bag.  Place pork chops in bag, two at a time, and shake.  Remove from bag and brown in a large frying pan in oil.  Once browned, place chops in crockpot and add soup. Cover, cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
