School officially starts tomorrow – for Ryan – our big 4th grader.  We started homeschool today with Christian – our 2nd grader,  and Dane starts pre-school on Wednesday.  It’s back to school all week!

Homeschool went pretty good today.  I haven’t done that since Ryan was in Kindergarten, so I need to get back in the swing of things.  I think it will go much smoother after a few days.  Now I’m just praying the curriculum we got works and Christian is reading soon!  

So it is the middle of the night, and what am I doing?  Baking (& making a grocery list).  Yeah, I just do that kind of stuff in the middle of the night – don’t ask.  Hey, they need yummy muffins on the first day of school right?  (and I wasn’t willing to get up at 5 a.m. to make them – I’m much more a night person) 

We had a good last week of summer.  Ryan’s 9th birthday was yesterday, so we had a “sleep” over on Wednesday night and then a couple friends over on Sat. night as well.  Football is still keeping us busy as well.  We didn’t have practice tonight and that was sooo nice!  We actually got to have a real dinner with the whole family at the dinner table – haven’t done that for a couple weeks.  It’s been feed the kids at 4:30 and we just kind of grabbed something whenever we got a chance. 

Well, I guess I better finish up my grocery list and hit the hay.
