It’s Date Night – At Home Style
22 minutes and counting…. until the kiddo’s go to bed and date night begins! You see, we are going through the Love Dare book that goes along with the Fireproof movie. We are on day 17 (mind you we are probably 70+ days into it (and it’s supposed to be done in 40) but anyway… we’re on day 17 – which includes a romantic dinner. We have a sick pumpkin and no babysitter, so it is date night at home! After they go to bed, we plan to order from a local restaurant (yeah, there are like 3 to choose from…welcome to small townville) and Matt will go pick it up. Then we will dine together and have a romantic evening – just the two of us… providing none of the little munchkins decide to wake up and join us!
In the meantime… I am listening to Annika crawl around the floor “talking” away. She is getting soooo close to saying DaDa! Oh, and Dane is asking “May we PLEASE have some ice-cream?” I think we’ll compromise with popsicles.

That sounds great – I hope your date night went well. Once you’ve finished going through the book, you should definitely check out springpad’s date night planner – it’s a great way to plan special nights for you and your husband – whether you’re doing dinner at home or headed out somewhere exciting!
